WHY
Our world is constantly evolving, and the needs and expectations around our wellbeing are no exception. To stay relevant and competitive, Oriflame needed to be prepared for what's coming. A futures thinking workshop can be a powerful tool for us to achieve this.
This workshop won't be about predicting the future; it's about exploring a range of possibilities and their potential impact on our business. By engaging in this thought exercise, we can identify potential challenges and opportunities related to wellbeing trends - to make strategic decisions today that will position us to thrive in the years to come.
HOW
To explore a range of possibilities for the company's future, we conducted a futures thinking workshop. Through meticulous sourcing and synthesis of key trends from diverse sources, we built a rich tapestry of data. This data fueled the construction of several plausible future scenarios. Next, I facilitated a collaborative session with a cross-functional group of global leaders. Together, we analyzed these scenarios, identifying potential challenges and opportunities for both consumers and the industry. This culminated in the co-creation of compelling future directions and conceptual prototypes for our company's future focus on wellbeing.
