WHY
Siam is the city center of Bangkok where public transportations intersect. The area is one of the most popular gathering places for people of all ages. It is a commercialized area and people can find the latest consumption trends here.
Siam has a high potential to be more meaningful. Chulalongkorn University, the land owner, foresaw this opportunity and wanted to make this area the most innovative district to spark inspiration for the people.
HOW
I designed the Futures Lab to bring the interdisciplinary group of 7 young professinals to co-design the future of Siam Innovation District together. They are engineer, UX designer, behavioral economist, landscape architect, business consultant, and graphic designer. The project comprises the initial research phase on the global innovation districts/ idea generation workshops/ making a recommendation report for the project owner. I led and facilitated the team to collaborate on this project.
OUTCOME

Ideas to make Siam an innovation district were generated and validated with Siam visitors.

The draft business model for Siam Innovation District was proposed to the land owner.
